Middle School Strength

The middle school strength program is based on learning and performing fundamental movement principles, developing the conditioning abilities during sensitive periods, and introducing basic strength progressions.  The atmosphere is high energy, encouraging, and most importantly, safe and training age appropriate.  Students in grades 5-8 take part in the middle school strength program during their P.E. classes.

Varsity Strength

Team workouts for each varsity athletic program are performed during their athletic season, after school.

Off Season Strength

For those athletes who are not in their competitive season, the off season strength program is encouraged, and designed to increase athletic performance.  With a group for both males and females, these athletes train multiple days a week after school, immediately following the in-season competitive teams.

The Linsly School is a proud member school of the National High School Strength Coaches Association.  This organization was formed to create a platform for high school strength and conditioning. While there are a few organizations that aim to serve the strength and conditioning profession, none were geared to give voice to the high school strength profession.  With an increased emphasis on long term athlete development, the NHSSCA focuses on high school strength coaches who are working to build stronger dynamic athletes who compete in multiple sports, preparing them physically to reach peak athletic potential. Learn more here:
